Intro

Gamerji is an eSports tournament company where users can play tournaments for their favorite games, host matches, communicate, share content & win prizes. Gameji hosts more than 5000 games of E-gaming per day. Our goal was to automate extraction of content from the leaderboard images and collate them in the database.

Quality

We were able to achieve our goal for image to text extraction with an accuracy percentage of more than 90%. There were a lot of challenges creating such AI tool such as extracting special characters and emojis from the images. Also there were multiple languages in the content which made it more complicated for us to develop such a tool.

But with all the hard work we were able to build and deploy the tool which helped the client save a lot of time and effort. The tool not only saved time but made the whole model more scalable.

Timeline

It took us 1 month to build the MVP and 3 months to deploy the product on live environment.
